Choosing the perfect afternoon tea in Den Haag

Choosing the perfect spot for afternoon tea in Den Haag was quite the adventure! I wanted a place that wasn’t just about great tea and snacks, but also had a cool vibe to it. So, I did a bit of digging on each spot.

Café Blossom caught my eye because it’s not just about tea; they have a whole picnic vibe going on, which sounded super chill. Then there was HUG THE TEA – I mean, who doesn’t want to hug a cup of tea, right? They’re all about that matcha life, and I’m here for it.

Scallys lunch room and Dudok Den Haag are classics, but I was leaning towards something a bit different. Petit Paradis sounded like a sweet escape, and Hotel Des Indes – talk about fancy! But I was looking for something more laid-back.

Lapsang had this artsy feel, while BLOEM seemed like a floral wonderland. Op de Weis had a cozy name that made me think of lazy afternoons, and Anne&Max felt like a spot where you’d meet your cool aunt who knows all the latest trends.

Betjeman and Barton Theekopers had that traditional tea shop aura, and Lunchroom Engelhard seemed like a solid choice. Chiqueolatte – now that’s a place for the ‘gram, and High Tea was straight to the point.

Scallywags had a fun name that made me smile, and Sophia Restaurant & Lounge gave off those classy.
